TibiaGirls Present: Tibians that inspire us.

It all started when my taste for decoration began. There were some items that I really liked and I didn’t know how to get them. At that time I was on Efidia and I noticed that these items were not for sale on the market, so I was curious about how to obtain them without having to bring them from other worlds. Among these items that I wanted a lot, were light resources such as Glass of Goo, Trapped Lighting, Eye of the Storm or Sun mirror.

Upon informing myself and discovering that these items could be obtained in a slightly more complex but interesting way, which is through rare bosses, I told a friend about my intentions. He had a little knowledge about it and he passed it on to me, we also learned together and started looking for them. Currently I do not see «bosshunting» as a means of obtaining rare items but as something broader: not only does it feel very good to find a rare boss but with the implementation of the bosstiary it is already an important part of the game.

Firstly, the cooldown times of the bosses, that is, the time that must pass after the death of the rare boss for it to appear again on the server. Since there are a variety of rare bosses, it is difficult to learn the number of days in which each one takes to appear again or has a high probability of doing so.

Another thing I’ve had a hard time learning is how long they stay in one place before disappearing again if no one kills them. There are certain bosses that, when they appear, last a very short time in a respawn and others that can last all day. As there are a large number of rare bosses, the time varies depending on which one is searched.

That, like rare creatures (yetis, midnight panther or undead cavebear), rarebosses can be put in prey, to increase the chances of loot, do more damage to them or simply reduce their damage to make it easier to kill them.

Similar to the above, nemesis bosses can be boosted when completing them, to increase loot possibilities.

That the details of the boss can be seen in the Cyclopedia as happens with the common creatures of the Bestiary: percentage of resistance, neutrality or weakness to the types of attack, possible loot, location, etc. (since the bosstiary only shows an inventory without details).

First of all, have several chars that can be logged in and out of places so you don’t have to run around the entire Tibia map with a single char. You save time and you can check as many times as you want a day.

Also pay attention to ensuring that these characters are accommodated in the respawns according to the profession or level required there. For example, there are respawns where you can easily be set on fire or injured, so an Elder Druid would be very useful since it can cure those conditions, to log you in or out faster there in case the boss is there.

And finally, patience is essential. There are people who have asked me how I find rare bosses and I always tell them that checking them once or twice a day is not enough. The ideal is to check if they are there every time you can, or if possible every 15 or 30 minutes at most. This is also why I believe that finding bosses is not a matter of luck but of the effort of the person who does it.

I would invent the profession of Alchemist, which would basically consist of, through magic, being able to make all kinds of potions, as happens with the ability of magicians to create runes.

I chose this photo because it is the strangest boss I have found <3 Mahatheb
